Cat Modeling using image planes in Maya



The first step I did was model the cat out from two different image planes, in this case, the front and side views.


Next, I added eyes for my cat.





Next, I painted my cat model in a programme called ZBrush.


Finally, I rig my cat model using the joint tool to create a skeleton within it.


This is how my cat looks like in an environment.
